Understand DCB’s History, School Model & Approach: Gain insight into DCB’s history, mission, lead values, and core components that drive student success.
Reflect and self-assess your school’s journey: Identify pivotal moments in your school’s history that have shaped its growth and success, and collaborate with your team to self-assess your school’s alignment with the DCB Approach framework, identifying areas of strength and opportunities for growth.

Day 2: Building Teacher Teams Inside the Classroom – Co-Teaching
Deepen knowledge of co-teaching & grade level teams at DCB: Learn our key models, benefits, and strategies to enhance instruction and support diverse learners.
Reflect on the morning’s learning and explore how to transfer key strategies to your school. Use the mindsets and tools of the DCB approach and identify specific aspects of co-teachingÌý and grade level teams you will implement; create an initial roadmap with clear goals, defined roles, and next steps to strengthen co-teaching at your school.

Day 3: Building Teacher Teams Outside the Classroom – Vertical Teams, Grade-Level Teams, and Teacher Leadership
Explore teacher collaboration structures at DCB: Examine the purpose, roles, and best practices of vertical teams, and teacher leadership to promote coherence and continuous improvement.
Reflect on the morning’s learning and explore how to transfer key strategies to your school. Use the mindsets and tools of the DCB approach and identify specific aspects of vertical teams and teacher leadership you will implement;Ìý create an initial roadmap with clear goals, defined roles, and next steps to strengthen teacher teams at your school.
